Unhealthy: ECP\EacDeepTestMonitor OWA.Protocol\OWADeepTestMonitor

Hello

Exchange 2013 running CU7 (on 2012r2) - been running fine since implementation in December - single box - replaced 2007

ECP / OWA are working fine for admins and users and so this is just a query

Last two days noticed huge number of errors in event log:

--------

Provider [ Name]  System.ServiceModel 4.0.0.0 EventID 3
WebHost failed to process a request.
 Sender Information: System.ServiceModel.Activation.HostedHttpRequestAsyncResult/60527394

Exception: System.ServiceModel.ServiceActivationException: No protocol binding matches the given address 'https://localhost/owa/service.svc?action=GetFolderMruConfiguration'

---------

From reviewing the logs it seems to stem from the ECP\EacDeepTestMonitor and OWA.Protocol\OWADeepTestMonitor health monitors as these are showing as unhealthy due to returning an Internal Server Error (500) when POST /owa/service.svc action=GetFolderMruConfiguration.

I presume this is due to the binding error but I cant figure out what has changed.  I found the following link:

https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms.exch.scom.ecp%28v=exchg.150%29.aspx

And followed the Application Pool, IIS, Server reset instructions but to no avail as the error still occurs.

I have pasted the Event Log, IIS log and Monitor Log here: http://pastebin.com/sKdhnfvg

Is anybody able to tell me what I can do to resolve this?

Thank you for your time

Pete

Hello

I will answer my own question, I did a diff with a DR snapshot from mid January and realised I am an idiot and had installed the ARR Helper - for IIS logging from the following URL:

http://blogs.iis.net/anilr/archive/2009/03/03/client-ip-not-logged-on-content-server-when-using-arr.aspx

When I installed this on DR I got exactly the same error message.  Have removed this from both boxes and have not had the error since.

This was to log remote users IP to OWA as we have a Sophos UTM in front of Exchange and so it was / is the only IP I see in the logs.

Thanks

Pete
